The Global Funding and Financing (GFF) Summit hosted by Clearstream and Eurex was held online from 2-4 February 2021. The summit was attended by 1353 delegates, 43 top-class speakers from Europe, Asia and the US.
This year, the summit had the theme of “An open eco-system for all”. Leading market experts shared experiences and insights into the latest regulatory agenda and current industry developments, explored challenges and opportunities of innovative solutions and new technologies during the summit.
The first day session included panel discussions on clearing and margining and the progressive direct involvement of several stakeholders such as the buy-side. On the second day, participants discussed recent developments in the repo and securities lending industry, market trends, regulatory impacts and new ESG aspirations from investors as well as diversity and inclusion in finance.
It worth mentioning that GFF Summit is one of the major international events for the secured funding and securities financing industry.
