Khalil Shirinov was born in Baku. He graduated from Baku State University, the “Faculty of International Relations and Economics” in 2016. In 2022, he was awarded a Master’s Degree in Business  Administration  at  Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

Mr. Shirinov  began his professional career in 2014 at the Zaminbank OJSC. From 2014 to 2016, he held various positions at the bank, including credit specialist and economist. From June 2018 to October 2020, he worked as a specialist of the administrative division, a leading specialist of the clearing division and a leading specialist of the depository and registrar department at the National Deposit Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He has been appointed to the position of Internal Audit since June 2020.
