Nakhchivan branch of the National Depository Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established according to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “Forming the activity of State Committee for Securities of Azerbaijan Republic in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” No. 1018 dated September 22, 2005. It was founded in order to improve the service quality provided to customers, considering the administrative visibility and remoteness from the center of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. On March 1, 2006 the Statute of the branch was approved by the State Committee for Securities of Azerbaijan Republic. The branch has started its activity since 2006.
