NDC is a state organization and component of National Depository System, directly engaged by depository activity and conducting the account of depositories, included in depository system, carrying out the control over their activity. NDC operates on the basis of  the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Securities Market, the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other normative legal acts, as well as international treaties to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party.
